Recently, the Institute of Applied Sciences at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a series of webinars to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for conducting scientific research. The student scientific research movement has been one of the Institute's strengths for many years.

The webinar series themed "From Ideas to Applied Products" was held at the HUTECH High-Quality Manpower Training Center in Thu Duc City. It covered two topics: "Methods of Conducting Scientific Research - Methods of Writing Articles and Presenting Reports" (held on April 4) and "Methods of Processing Experimental Data" (held on April 8).
Accompanying the students throughout both topics are Dr. Trinh Thi Lan Anh, Mr. Trinh Trong Nguyen (lecturer at the HUTECH Institute of Applied Sciences), and Dr. Le Quang Dung, a representative of the HUTECH Department of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation.

The speakers' presentations on the topics provide students with an overview of research projects, including generating ideas, making plans, consulting with instructors, finding documents, conducting field surveys, processing data, writing reports, and presenting to the review board. Special emphasis is placed on structuring the research project to be balanced and reasonable, as well as on processing and analyzing data.
