Recently, students from the Institute of Applied Sciences at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had the opportunity to showcase their skills in making handmade moon cakes with various fillings such as mango, passion fruit, strawberry, and green tea at the workshop “The Loving Cake.”

At the workshop, Ms. Huynh Kim Phung guided the students step by step in making a moon cake, from mixing the dough and kneading the filling to shaping and baking the cake. Once they had mastered the steps, the students actively participated in the process, crafting beautiful and delicious cakes.

After the workshop, each student received a set of four moon cakes to bring home for their loved ones in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The workshop has been an annual activity of the Institute of Applied Sciences during the Mid-Autumn Festival. It provides students with opportunities to learn cake-making techniques, connect with each other, and gain useful knowledge.
