HUTECH Faculty of English language students excitedly participate in the Amazing Race 2023

With the desire to create a healthy playground for students to practice their skills and complete the criteria for the title of “Students with five good merits”, the Youth Union - Student Association of the faculty of English Language of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized the skills training program “Amazing race 2023”.

The “Amazing Race 2023” is a practical training program that helps students develop essential soft skills while offering interesting experiences and opportunities to interact with their friends.

The training took place in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere with the participation of six teams. The teams were tasked with challenges at four familiar locations in the center of Ho Chi Minh City.

After going through various stations with different challenges, the students accumulated essential soft skills.

Specifically, at Lê Văn Tám station, team members took turns doing the 'elephant spin,' moving bottles, and loudly reciting a 'Tongue twister' to complete the challenge. At 30/4 station, they found a foreigner and taught them to sing 2-3 lines in Vietnamese. At Phú Nhuận station, they completed the 'Understanding Teammates' and 'Whisper Challenge' tasks. At the Thanh Đa Water Bus station, each team had 5 minutes to pass powder between members. With enthusiasm and energy, all teams successfully completed the challenges set by the organizers.

The “Amazing Race 2023” concluded by helping the students of Faculty of English Language at HUTECH complete the criteria for “Advanced Class”, “Skills Training”, “Ethics”, and “Integration”, preparing them for the upcoming 'Students with five good merits' evaluations. Additionally, students had moments of relaxation after stressful study hours and equipped themselves with practical soft skills.
