On the morning of (5/12), the Faculty of English - HUTECH University worked in collaboration with the Cambridge English Language Assessment to organize a seminar on "Introduction to International English Certificates" for the English’s students of HUTECH University.
The seminar was attended by Pham Quynh Trang - Vice Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Nguyen Hoa Mai Phuong, Dr. Tran Quoc Tuan and lecturers from Faculty of English. Speaker, Ms. Pham Hoang Uyen - Representative of the Cambridge English Language Assessment in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
More than 400 students are happy and exciting with the seminar
At the seminar, Ms. Pham Hoang Uyen provided useful information about some International English Certificates in accordance with European standards, for more than 400 English students’s at HUTECH to help students understand the value of each certificate. In this way, students can understand the information related to the Common European Framework of Reference for English - especially at the A2 - Key (KET) level, B1 - Preliminary (PET) and B2 - First (FCE) as well as a review orientation, preparation to achieve the best results.

In this exciting atmosphere, the students asked many questions related to the International Cambridge English Exams in Vietnam and received detail answers from the speaker. On behalf of the Faculty of English, MA Pham Quynh Trang also sent a message to students to capture information - especially learning methods and exams - improving knowledge to conquer the international certificates and open more career opportunities in the future. In the near future, the Faculty of English will have more similar seminars, realising the need for international certificates for HUTECH’s students.

Cambridge English Language certificate assessment (United Kingdom) is recognized in more than 135 countries worldwide and is considered as an “instrument" to pursue higher education programs as well as enhancing employment opportunities in the international environment. In Vietnam, there are more than 100,000 students taking part in on average each year.
