HUTECH English Department students accumulated valuable information about teaching.

On September 29th, the English Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized the seminar "Orientation of English Teaching Methods", providing valuable information about career orientation as well as offering students an overview of teaching in today's context.

It was noted that this event served as both an introduction and the first activity of the English Teaching Club - a club supporting English teaching and learning activities for HUTECH students, providing opportunities for students passionate about teaching to enhance their skills and accumulate practical experience through workshops and assistant teaching sessions.

The seminar attracted a large number of student participants.

The program was attended by Associate Professor Tran Quoc Thao - Deputy Head of the English Department, Master Vo Quoc Dai - Deputy Head of the Department, along with advisors of the English Teaching Club.

Assuming the role of speaker, Master Nguyen Ngoc Tram Anh - advisor of the English Teaching Club, shared practical and in-depth insights into student demographics, enabling future educators to prepare and select suitable student demographics for themselves. Specifically, Master Nguyen Ngoc Tram Anh categorized students into groups corresponding to preschool age, elementary school, middle school, and adults. Accordingly, each student group has different psychological inclinations, learning abilities, and teaching requirements, thus teachers need to have teaching methods and appropriate approaches for each group.

Master Nguyen Ngoc Tram Anh, the advisor of the English Teaching Club, assumed the role of speaker for the program.

Master Nguyen Ngoc Tram Anh emphasized that teaching is not only about imparting knowledge but also about creating a comfortable learning environment and conditions so that learners can absorb effectively and ensure a smooth teaching process.

Within the framework of the program, Master Nguyen Ngoc Tram Anh presented important factors that students need to equip themselves with, such as qualifications, English skills, work experience, and responsibilities, to increase their chances of being recruited by domestic educational institutions and English centers.
