HUTECH ENGLISH DEPARTMENT HOSTS "NEW APPROACHES IN TEACHING AND LEARNING" WORKSHOP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND (NEW ZEALAND)

The HUTECH English Department recently held an insightful international workshop titled "New Approaches in Teaching and Learning: Lessons for TESOL and Education from New Zealand." The event was attended by Dr. Lý Thiên Trang - Vice President; Dr. Nguyễn Thị Kiều Thu - Head of the English Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Quốc Thảo, and M.A. Võ Quốc Đại - Deputy Heads of the English Department. Particularly, the workshop featured two esteemed speakers from the University of Auckland (New Zealand), Prof. Mark Barrow and Prof. Marek Tesar.
During the workshop, professors from both universities discussed and analyzed advanced teaching methods currently being applied in New Zealand, with an emphasis on the role of technology and strategies to enhance learning efficiency. Prof. Mark Barrow introduced new teaching approaches, while Prof. Marek Tesar focused on the continuous professional development of lecturers and educators.
The event concluded with productive discussions, marking a new milestone in HUTECH's approach towards international teaching methods. This brought significant value to both faculty and students by enhancing the quality of English language teaching and learning in today's university environment.
