HUTECH Students Enthusiastically Welcome Christmas at the "Christmas Spirit" Cultural Festival

On December 25th, the Faculty of English Language at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized the "Christmas Spirit" cultural festival to create an interesting space for students to have the opportunity to exchange cultures and harmonize with the bustling atmosphere of the year-end holidays.

The representatives from the Faculty of English Language who attended the program included Dr. Tran Quoc Thao - Vice Dean, and Mr. Vo Quoc Dai - Vice Dean, along with the participation of lecturers from the Faculty, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere for the students.

The large-scale cultural event attracted a large number of HUTECH students. The program took place with a lively performance competition and student exchange activities through interesting booths. Notably, the program also had the participation of many foreign lecturers and students, which was an opportunity for HUTECH students to confidently chat about the culture of the Christmas season with international friends and teachers.

In the joyful atmosphere of the program, the Faculty of English Language also awarded prizes to commend the enthusiasm and ingenuity of the students. Specifically, in the booth decoration competition, class 21DTAC4 won the first prize, the second prize went to class 23DTAB1, and the third prize went to class 23DTAA4.

In the performance competition, the first prize went to the performance "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" by student Le Nguyen Phuong Truc; the second prize went to the performance "Harmonizing Christmas" by Nguyen Tan Vi and Vo Ngoc Huyen; the third prize went to the performance "Mistletoe" by students Han Giai Anh and Ha Nguyet Thu; the consolation prizes were the performances "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by students Huynh Anh Duy and Cao Van Thong, "Silent Night" by student Phung Nguyen Dan Vy, and "Oh Holy Night" by student Vo Vu Phuong Thanh.

The "Christmas Spirit" cultural festival came to a close, and it is believed that the students will take away meaningful experiences and strengthen the connections between Vietnamese and international students.
