Students of the Faculty of English exchange internationally to learn about the culture of ASEAN countries

Recently, students of the Faculty of English of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) have learned many interesting cultures, cuisines, languages, etc. through a cultural exchange between Southeast Asian countries with the theme “ASEAN - A community of Opportunity.

The event is organized by Singapore Polytechnic International (SPI) to promote friendly cooperative relationships between students from Vietnam and Singapore, as well as exchanges between students from ASEAN countries.

This international exchange activity had the participation of 25 students from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Especially the presence of 5 students of the English Department including Nguyen Dang Khoa, Huynh Thi Minh Khue, Nguyen Nam Phuong, Nguyen Nhat Vu, Nguyen Phan Minh Khoi - representing Vietnam.

Throughout the event, students listened to the cultural diversity of Southeast Asian countries. As one of the students participating in the program, Huynh Thi Minh Khue shared: "Conversing in many different languages has helped me improve my language skills and deepen my understanding of each country's culture. From the lilting tones of Thai to the rhythmic rhythm of Bahasa Indonesia, every conversation becomes a linguistic adventure, revealing the beauty of each language.” 

The event helps students gain more useful knowledge about the cultures, languages, and cuisines of different countries 

At the end of the exchange program, students from different countries together created a colorful cultural picture, while bringing the beauty of their country to the world. This is a valuable opportunity for students to develop their language skills and international integration ability.
