The Faculty of English language launches student movement for scientific research

This morning, November 21, 2017, the Faculty of English language - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a ceremony to launch the scientific research movement for the faculty's students. The ceremony aims to orient, guide and promote the improvement of the scientific research capacity of the students of the Faculty of English language in particular and at the same time contribute to encouraging the scientific research movement widely among students at HUTECH.

Sharing about the scientific research movement of students, Ms. Pham Quynh Trang - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of English said that practicing scientific research skills right from the first year helps students to apply the knowledge they have been studying at school, improving their ability to apply different methods of scientific research to solve practical problems and thus gain a lot of useful experiences to apply in practice after graduation.

At the same time, Dr. Tran Quoc Thao - Lecturer of the Faculty of English language gave instructions on the requirements for a research paper including how to write a scientific research topic, how to identify the topic, and how to apply the most effective research methods.

To help students find and collect information and documents in the library and on the internet quickly and accurately based on the research topic, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Tuan - Director of HUTECH Library Center gave specific instructions to the students.

Not only giving instructions and sharing, the teachers also enthusiastically explained and answered a lot of questions from the students about how to choose a topic and the skills needed to conduct research.

It can be said that the information provided and shared by the teachers at the launching ceremony has brought many practical and useful information to the students.
