The Faculty of English Summarized the Research Movement for the school year 2018-2019

In order to commend and encourage students to be active in learning and researching, this morning (November 19th), the Faculty of English, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a program to summarize Research activities in the 2018-2019 school year and make recommendations for the 2019-2020 school year.

The conference was attended by Ms. Phạm Quỳnh Trang – Vice Dean of the Faculty, Mr. Trần Quốc Thao – Head of ERC, Ms. Nguyễn Hòa Mai Phương, Vice deputy of ERC, Ms. Hoàng Kim Mai Khôi, Head of HIT, and especially the presence of the students who have made excellent achievements in the Science Research movement of the Faculty in the last school year 2018 - 2019.

In the conference, the Faculty of English praised and honored individuals and students who have contributed in the process of learning and scientific research, thereby contributing to the achievement of the Faculty. as well as of HUTECH in general over the years. This is also an opportunity to encourage students of the Faculty of English to be more active and proactive in cultivating their own knowledge to reap certain academic and research activities  for themselves.

At the Faculty of English, scientific research has always received special attention by the Board of Directors, aiming to minimize the "theoretical learning" in lecture halls, and train necessary skills for students such as: ability to build the knowledge system in all aspects, problem presentation skills and responsible work ethic. Thereby, it helps students push back background knowledge to improve the quality of their B.A thesis. In particular, scientific research is also one of five factors to consider the title of "Student with Five Good Qualities".
