A Warm Reunion of Alums and Lecturers of the Faculty of English Language

On the morning of April 23, many alums of the Faculty of English Language, HUTECH University, had the opportunity to reunite with teachers and friends in a joyful atmosphere on the eve of the 27th anniversary. The university was established on April 26, 1995.
Dr Le Van Tuyen, vice dean of English Faculty, Dr Tran Quoc Thao, vice dean of English Faculty, Do Thi Song Tuyen, head of language and Skills division, Vo Quoc Dai, Head of Business English division, academic staff and many alums attended the meeting.

Dr Le Van Tuyen said, “I feel very touched and happy to see you again, the students I used to work with for a long time. In particular, I am also very proud of my former students who are successful in different fields with English. It’s my hope you will always get success and inspire your juniors to study and strive.”

At the meeting, lecturers and alums of the Faculty of English Language discussed internship programs for faculty students. Cam Giang, Academic Manager at the Atlanta Center, returning to the school, said, “When I return to the school, I feel very proud and honored. I hope the faculty will organize more periodic reunions so that I can meet my teachers regularly and interact with students.”

Quynh Giao, CEO of Learning English with Ms Funny, co-founder of The Star Academy and Academic Manager at Novakids International School, promises to lead and bring many practical internship opportunities to younger generations. “Along with firmly learning professional knowledge, you must hone your soft skills, particularly information technology, to have an impressive advantage over candidates when applying for jobs at enterprises,” Hoang Minh, Assistant Chief of Tam Tri Law Office, reminded the students.

Warm and friendly sharing and stories have shown the unfading teacher-student relationship between the Faculty of English Language teachers and the alumni.
