STUDENT RESEARCH AWARDS & OPENING CEREMONY OF RESEARCH 2021-2022

On September 25, the English Language Research Club – ELRC successfully held a ceremony to summarize students research award and open the scientific research on Google Meet 

Besides honoring the excellent scientific research topic in 2020 – 2021, ERLC also launched the opening ceremony of research 2021-2022.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Quoc Thao (PhD) – Vice Dean of the Faculty of English Language, Mrs Pham Quynh Trang (MA) – Vice Dean of the Faculty of English Language and more than 130 students.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Thao, the club's founder shared: "I hope the number of topics this year will be doubled, and the number of students participating in other awards will also increase. I completely trust the leader board of this club as well as the students who participate here.”

As a person who always supports the club, Ms. Pham Quynh Trang said: “Research is a work that lecturers have to do, but for students, I really admire you. Thanks to you, the spirit of scientific research of Faculty is getting higher and higher. I hope the club will grow stronger and obtain lots of achievements”

1. FIRST PRIZE:  The topic "DONG CO VA MUC TIEU HOC TAP CUA SINH VIEN NGON NGU ANH" from the group Le Quoc Phuong, Pham Thi Phuong Dung, Vo Thi Thanh Hang, Pham Kieu Gia Han won the first prize.

2. SECOND PRIZE: The topic "ENGLISH MAJORED STUDENTS' DIFFICULTIES IN LEARNING SPEAKING SKILL WITH FOREIGN TEACHERS" from the group Pham Tran Yen Tuong, Phan Hoang Men, Ho Phuong Nghi 

3. SECOND PRIZE: The topic "THE IMPACT OF IELTS AND TOEIC ON ENGLISH TEACHING AND LEARNING AMONG ADULT LEARNERS" from the group Pham Tri Tai, Pham Tuan Kiet 

4. THIRD PRIZE: The topic "EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES FOR ENGLISH READING COMPREHENSION" from the group Dao Thu Uyen, Duong Phi Yen, Pham Phu Khai. Tran Nhan Hau 

5. THIRD PRIZE: The topic "AMERICAN'S TABLE MANNER" from the group Van Phu Phuong Oanh, Van Thi Thanh Truc, Vo Ngoc Yen Nhu, Vo Thi Tuyet Nhi 

And 7 other excellent scientific research topics won CONSOLATION PRIZES:

Vo Thi Thanh Hang the representative of the research group with the highest achievements and now preparing for the Euréka, shared: “First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Thao and Ms. Hong who took care and supported my team to do this topic so that we could be honored to participate in Euréka. I want to send this encouragement to students who have a passion for scientific research, you will not be alone, teachers always go along and help you achieve the highest results”
