On November 30, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) had a meeting with the University of Southern Queensland (Australia) and HEC Montréal (Canada).
Representing the University of Southern Queensland was Prof. Ren Yi, Pro Vice-Chancellor. On behalf of HUTECH, there was the presence of Dr. Nguyen Thuy Hong Van-Director of the Institute of International Education and Dr. Nguyen Thanh Luan-Deputy Head of Department of Science and Technology.

At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Thuy Hong Van sent her gratitude to the delegation from the University of Southern Queensland. Following that, the two universities introduced their history of formation, development process, visions, missions, training programs, etc.
HUTECH and the University of Southern Queensland discussed future cooperation plans as well as proposed a number of promising fields for cooperation between the two universities such as undergraduate, graduate, doctoral programs, and scholarships.

On the same day, the Institute of International Education also worked with Prof. Marie-Hélène Jobin, Director of the Office of International Relations and Partnerships at HEC Montréal (Canada). At the meeting, HUTECH and HEC Montréal discussed potential student exchange programs between the two universities, thereby opening up new opportunities for exchange and study for students of the two universities.
