Students of HUTECH's Faculty of Management Information Systems acquired practical knowledge in data science

Recently, the Faculty of Management Information Systems - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized a seminar on "Data Science Pathways" to equip students with professional knowledge and skills in the field of data science.

The "Data Science Pathways" seminar attracted a large number of interested students

The seminar is not only an exchange and learning session but also a place for students to explore an appealing world of data science, helping them better understand their chosen major.

Speakers at the seminar were technology experts from TP&P Technology Company (belonging to AGEST), including Ms. Sang Huynh and Mr. Truong Vu.

To provide students with an overview of data science, speaker Sang Huynh thoroughly introduced the fundamental concepts as well as the diverse and potential applications of this field. 

According to the speaker, students need to understand programming languages and SQL to work effectively with data

The students posed questions and concerns related to their specialized field

Additionally, the speaker also shared that building a professional CV is also a vital factor in creating advantages in the labor market. By working on individual projects, students can demonstrate their ability to practice and materialize their knowledge. Furthermore, joining data science communities on social media platforms is also an effective method to seek job opportunities right before graduation.
