Students of the Faculty of Management Information Systems learn how to build a data platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

On July 19th, the Faculty of Information Technology - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized the Workshop "Building Data Platform on AWS", to help students improve their knowledge and skills in building data platforms in the digital era.
The workshop updates new knowledge about AWS for students of the Faculty of Management Information Systems
With a strong network of corporations, HUTECH regularly organizes events to help students directly acquire knowledge from experts.
The speaker at the workshop was Mr. Nguyen Gia Hung - Technical Director of AWS Vietnam.

To help students know how to build an effective data platform in today's digital age, the speaker provided a wealth of practical information about Amazon Web Services (AWS), integrated services that build a data platform on AWS, and AWS applications in diverse fields. In addition, the concept of Data Kate, Data Warehouse; the difference between data models; actual cases of each model; and an overview of cloud computing were also introduced thoroughly by the speaker.

Not only did students gain practical knowledge about data models, but the students also participated in a competition for data processing on the AWS platform with the support of experts. Minigames helped the students apply the knowledge in practice, thereby understanding the AWS platform.

Throughout the workshop, multiple concerns of the students about career orientation have been thoroughly answered. Hopefully, the workshop has supported HUTECH Faculty of Information Management System students to obtain the latest technology knowledge so that they can confidently pursue their careers.
