Faculty of Information Technology

Founded in 2000, The Faculty of Information Technology is one of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) oldest academic departments. The Faculty has been in operation since the early years when the University was established.
The Faculty’s mission is to produce graduates who possess a profound understanding of software technology, information system, computer network, computer engineering, and the practical skills to implement IT applications, all while staying updated on the latest trends in the field; ensuring students are adept in various areas, including computers and smartphones programming, e-commerce application development, as well as the design and implementation of network and data protection systems.
The Faculty offers a dynamic and modern learning environment with a team of dedicated and experienced lecturers, fostering a highly-interactive atmosphere, along with scientific research activities.
The Faculty is committed to maintaining ISO 9001:2008 quality management standards, aligning with the University’s system.
