Prof. Yuping Wu Chair Professor, Southeast University, China Executive Dean of Z Energy Storage Center Fellow of RSC ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0833-1205 Homepage Wu received his PhD degree from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997. In 2003 he came to Fudan University as a full professor, and shifted to Nanjing Tech University in 2015. His research interests are focused on energy storage and conversion systems and their key materials. He acted as PI for quite some national projects. So far he published over 520 papers in peer-reviewed SCI-index journals including Nature Catalysts, Nature Communications, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, and Angewandte Chemie, with H-index of 107+. As the main author, he published 10 books in Chinese and English, and additional 11 chapters. Over 30 patents were issued by China, US, Japan and Europe. In 2014 he was awarded as Excellent Youth Scientist, and in 2015 was selected as one of the Most Influential Minds over the World from the Highly Cited Researchers over the world by Thomson Reuters. He acted as editor-in-chief of Energy Materials (IF=11.8), associate editor of Energy & Environment Materials (IF=13). |

His research interests include Computational Mechanics, Structural Optimization and Deep Learning. Prof. Kim Jae Hyun Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea Division of Energy & Environmental Technology/Materials Science and Engineering Homepage Kim completed his doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2003. He joined LG Philips LCD as a senior research engineer, where he directed the design and process development of TFT-LCD TV panels from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, he moved to the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) and is currently a principal researcher in the Division of Energy & Environmental Technology and a professor in Energy Science & Engineering. Kim led the research on the Solar Thermal Unified Device project as the project leader. He has published many notable papers in the fields of solar cells, graphene quantum dots, hybrid photovoltaics, Li-ion batteries, and solid-state electrolytes. His recent research focuses on composite polymer solid-state electrolytes for Li-ion batteries. He is serving as the Chief Vice President of the Korea Photovoltaic Society (KPVS) in 2024 and also the Vice President of the Materials Research Society of Korea. |

Ngo is the winner of the 2013 Eureka Prize for Outstanding Science in Safeguarding Australia. He has been named the best in the world in the field of Composite Materials in 2022. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE). Prof Ngo is a member of the ARC College of Experts and a member of the European Research Council (ERC) Expert Panel for Physical Sciences and Engineering. He also received Scopus Research Award in 2022 and the Award for Excellence in Concrete by the Concrete Institute of Australia-Vic Branch in 2017 and 2023. He is the two-time winner of the University of Melbourne Excellence Award for Industry-engaged Research in 2017 and 2020. Prof Ngo has made a significant contribution to research in the area of low carbon materials and resilient building systems. He is recognised as an expert in protective technologies for protecting critical infrastructure by many government organisations and industry. His research expertise are Prefabricated modular buildings, Extreme loadings, Sustainable materials and low carbon technologies, Composite materials and Modelling urban systems and design of sustainable buildings. |

Prof. Kenji Urayama Kenji received his PhD degree at Kyoto University in 1996. He was a posdoctoral fellow at Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research and a full professor at Department of Macromolecular Science & Engineering, Kyoto Institute of Technology during 2013-2022 period. His research interests include analysis and exploitation of mechanical properties of soft materials, liquid crystal elastomers/gels, suspension dynamics of functional microgels and natural polymers. He was awarded the John H. Dillon Medal (Division of Polymer Physics, American Physical Society) in 2006 and Award for Academic Contribution (The Society of Materials Science, Japan) in 2019. Kenji is also a member of Editorial Board of Macromolecules (American Chemical Society) and Journal of Elasticity (Springer). |

His research as an information systems socio-technological expert focuses on the social role of emerging information systems and their influence on humans and organisations in real-world settings. He takes an inter-disciplinary approach in research under the overarching theme of information systems, including socio-technical aspects of systems management, social media, knowledge management, project management, educational systems, and technology-enhanced learning. He has written widely in these areas, with his research published in several leading academic journals. Chugh is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), which further acknowledges his sustained effectiveness and academic leadership in higher education learning and teaching. He is also a senior member of IEEE and the Australian Computer Society. He holds membership of IEEE Computer Society and the IEEE Green ICT Community.
