Prof. Lee Jae Hong Sejong University, Republic of Korea Researcher, Deep Learning Architecture Research Center Researcher, Department of Architectural Engineering Google Scholar | ResearchGate Lee received his PhD in Engineering Mechanics, Virginia Tech, USA. His research interests include Computational Mechanics, Structural Optimization and Deep Learning. He is the author of over 200 SCI journal papers on computational mechanics, composite and FG materials, spatial structures, and applied mathematics. He also received Presidential Young Investigator Award for his outstanding research in 2004. Lee is in Top 100 National Research Project in 2017 by Ministry of Science and ICT. |

Ngo is the winner of the 2013 Eureka Prize for Outstanding Science in Safeguarding Australia. He has been named the best in the world in the field of Composite Materials in 2022. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE). Prof Ngo is a member of the ARC College of Experts and a member of the European Research Council (ERC) Expert Panel for Physical Sciences and Engineering. He also received Scopus Research Award in 2022 and the Award for Excellence in Concrete by the Concrete Institute of Australia-Vic Branch in 2017 and 2023. He is the two-time winner of the University of Melbourne Excellence Award for Industry-engaged Research in 2017 and 2020. Prof Ngo has made a significant contribution to research in the area of low carbon materials and resilient building systems. He is recognised as an expert in protective technologies for protecting critical infrastructure by many government organisations and industry. His research expertise are Prefabricated modular buildings, Extreme loadings, Sustainable materials and low carbon technologies, Composite materials and Modelling urban systems and design of sustainable buildings. |

As an award-winning educationist and researcher with many years of rich experience, he has contributed to varied pedagogical and research outcomes. His research as an information systems socio-technological expert focuses on the social role of emerging information systems and their influence on humans and organisations in real-world settings. He takes an inter-disciplinary approach in research under the overarching theme of information systems, including socio-technical aspects of systems management, social media, knowledge management, project management, educational systems, and technology-enhanced learning. He has written widely in these areas, with his research published in several leading academic journals. Chugh is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), which further acknowledges his sustained effectiveness and academic leadership in higher education learning and teaching. He is also a senior member of IEEE and the Australian Computer Society. He holds membership of IEEE Computer Society and the IEEE Green ICT Community. He was also the chair of the Melbourne Campus Sustainability Committee which focussed on environmental sustainability awareness, periodic sustainability initiatives, opportunities for new ideas and teaching real-world relevance of sustainability in class. |
