On March 6, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a working session with TET Education Group (TET) to explore opportunities for collaboration in education and training.
The meeting was attended by representatives from HUTECH, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF), and TET Education Group. Representing HUTECH and UEF were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam – Vice Chairman of the University Board of Directors, Dr. Ly Thien Trang – Vice President, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong – Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations and Project Management, and Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President of UEF. Representing TET Education Group were Ms. Jane Tran – Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Ha Tran – Country Director, and Ms. Trinh Phuong Ha – Head of Admissions Consulting.

Opening the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam extended a warm welcome to the delegation from TET Education Group on behalf of HUTECH. He also expressed high expectations for the promising partnership between the two sides. Following this, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong provided an overview of HUTECH and its education system, highlighting the university's achievements in education, scientific research, and international collaboration—particularly in student exchange programs and academic partnerships with leading universities worldwide.

TET Education Group representatives also introduced their organization. Established in 2010 and headquartered in Australia, TET Education Group collaborates with government agencies, universities, and educational institutions worldwide. The organization specializes in educational consulting, designing internationally accredited training programs and research initiatives, and developing high-quality human resources.

HUTECH and TET discussed key areas of collaboration, including the potential implementation of international joint programs, enabling Vietnamese students to access advanced education. Other topics included strategic scholarship programs offered by TET for HUTECH and UEF students, as well as TET’s interest in supporting the expansion and international collaboration of Royal School, a member of the HUTECH Education System.
