On January 7, the Vietnam-Korea Institute of Technology (VKIT) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) hosted a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dankook University (South Korea). This collaboration aims to promote educational exchange, foster research partnerships, and provide international learning opportunities for students.

Representing HUTECH were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Dinh Nguyen - Vice President and VKIT Director; Ms. Kwi Jeong Won – VKIT Vice Director; and Ms. Thai Minh Phuong - VKIT Vice Director. From Dankook University, participants included Prof. Kim Jaeil - Vice President for International Affairs; Prof. Song Sang-hyun; Prof. Hwang Yun-ja - Lecturer in the Global K-Culture Talent Development Project; and Prof. Baek Yong-hoon - Director of the Education Infrastructure Reform Center.

In addition to the signing, VKIT and Dankook University jointly organized the “K-Culture” program on January 7-8. The event featured five interactive booths with themes such as K-beauty, K-school, K-story, K-pop, and K-game. These activities provided HUTECH students with a hands-on experience of Korean culture, further strengthening cultural ties between the two nations.
