The majority of the meeting focused on potential collaboration models. Both HUTECH and the University of Nottingham agreed that joint undergraduate or foundation programs are viable options. These initiatives would ensure that Vietnamese students receive degrees equivalent to those awarded to students studying in the UK or Malaysia. The University of Nottingham’s campuses in the UK, China, and Malaysia provide opportunities for students to study in multiple countries. Additionally, both institutions aim to develop flexible programs that allow students to choose study locations based on their individual circumstances, prioritizing key fields such as business, engineering, and computer science.

The meeting also covered student exchange programs. HUTECH warmly welcomed students from the University of Nottingham to study and experience Vietnamese culture while expressing a strong desire to launch short-term programs for HUTECH students at Nottingham. These opportunities would enable HUTECH students to immerse themselves in the rich academic traditions of a historic institution.
