On December 11, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) hosted a meeting with representatives from MyCOS Data and UniMega to discuss solutions for improving education quality and ensuring international accreditation.

Representing MyCOS, Dr. David Cheng, Chief Scientist and Vice President of MyCOS, provided an overview of the company's 18-year history, focusing on delivering data and solutions to universities across China. Additionally, Qi Zhang, CEO of UniMega, shared insights into the integration of Chinese technology with Singapore’s corporate operational models, ensuring compliance with security and data privacy requirements, especially within the context of globalized education.

The meeting delved into discussions on quality assurance and data-driven solutions in education. Dr. Ly Thien Trang emphasized that HUTECH is actively implementing international accreditation standards such as FIIBA, ACBSP, and QS Ratings, while facing challenges in measuring and assessing learning outcomes and academic programs. She noted that Vietnam's education system is struggling to meet new accreditation standards set by the government, underscoring the urgent need for innovation in management and data analytics.

He also stressed the importance of tailoring data analysis services to Vietnam’s specific context to reduce costs and ensure data security.
MyCOS expressed hope for a partnership to enhance education quality and build a sustainable support system
During the discussion, Dr. David Cheng expressed MyCOS's commitment to becoming a long-term partner of HUTECH. By understanding the university's specific needs, MyCOS aims to develop a sustainable support system. He also proposed that Vietnam could leverage data storage and analysis services from leading tech companies such as Google, Amazon, or Alibaba to minimize initial investment costs.
