On November 27, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) held a signing ceremony to formalize a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Geographic Learning (NGL) - Cengage (USA). This partnership aims to advance the university's academic excellence through strengthened international collaboration in education and research.
During the signing ceremony, HUTECH and NGL - Cengage conducted in-depth discussions on key issues and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting and implementing joint initiatives in education. The collaboration encompasses the provision of high-quality teaching and learning materials, the organization of professional development programs, specialized workshops, and seminars focused on pedagogical methodologies for faculty enhancement. Additionally, both institutions will work together on academic publishing projects and the development of international academic programs that align with global educational standards.

As part of the collaboration, both parties have outlined several key initiatives to enhance teaching quality and cultivate a dynamic learning environment. HUTECH will partner with NGL - Cengage to provide faculty training, focusing on improving English teaching skills through NGL's innovative Voices curriculum, which combines language development, critical thinking, and global awareness. Furthermore, the two institutions will collaborate on developing a test bank and an online learning platform, offering students enhanced opportunities for learning and quality assessment.
