Promoting international collaboration to enhance student learning is a key strategy of the Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). On November 22, VJIT hosted an MOU signing ceremony with Toa Kogyo, paving the way for numerous internship opportunities for students in the future.

The ceremony, held at Saigon Campus, welcomed representatives from Toa Kogyo, including Mr. Hasegawa Kuniaki, Engineering Director; Mr. Yoshida Mikio, Operations Director; and Mr. Kimura Takuya, Branch Manager of Gunma Bank in Ho Chi Minh City.

Representing HUTECH were Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh, Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Director of VJIT; Dr. Ha Minh Tuan, Vice Director of VJIT; and Dr. Le Thanh Tuan, VJIT Head of Automotive Engineering.

In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh expressed his gratitude to Toa Kogyo for their ongoing partnership with HUTECH. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in creating internship opportunities and expanding employment pathways for students after graduation.

He also provided an overview of HUTECH’s international educational programs and its focus on research and development, highlighting the university’s aspiration to expand cooperation projects with Toa Kogyo to foster academic and scientific growth in Japan.
Mr. Hasegawa Kuniaki, representing Toa Kogyo, reiterated the company’s commitment to maintaining a long-term partnership with HUTECH. He expressed a desire to promote student exchange programs for studying and working, strengthening the relationship between the university and the company.
