At the Global Talent & Business Meetup MEET KANSAI 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) aimed to strengthen connections between young talent and businesses. The event offered students valuable opportunities to gain knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the global job market.

The event gathered prominent leaders, major corporations, and top students from various universities, organized by Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provincial External Affairs Departments, and EHLE Institute in Japan, with the support of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Osaka, and Japanese economic organizations such as JETRO, the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with numerous corporate sponsors.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Keiichi Hasegawa, Chairman of EHLE Institute, expressed his appreciation for the strong interest from government bodies, businesses, and university leaders, faculty, and students dedicated to developing Japanese-speaking talent.

Representing HUTECH, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Director of VJIT, attended with a delegation of VJIT students, highlighting the collaborative efforts between Vietnam and Japan in education and technology. VJIT students had the chance to connect directly with representatives from the Japanese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, key governmental departments, and top businesses from both countries, creating opportunities to expand their professional networks and explore career prospects in Japanese companies.
HUTECH is actively working to broaden networking opportunities and create career development pathways for its students
