HUTECH launches AUN-QA Assessment at Programme Level for 4 majors

On September 10, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) commenced the AUN-QA assessment at the programme level for four majors: Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, and Multimedia.

The 404th AUN-QA Assessment at the Programme Level is currently underway at HUTECH, spanning three days from September 10 to 12, 2024. The opening ceremony was attended by assessors associated with each programme:
Information Technology (IT): Prof. Dr. Clarita D. Carillo and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ampapan Tuntinakhongul
Management Information Systems: Prof. Dr. Patricia M. Empleo and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanongsack Duangdala
Electrical Engineering: Dr. Veerades Panvisavas and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lucila R. Calairo
Multimedia: Prof. Dr. Riza Atiq Abdullah bin O.K. Rahmat and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Julita Robles.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President of HUTECH, expressed gratitude and extended a warm welcome to the AUN-QA Assessment Team.

Prof. Dr. Clarita D. Carillo, representing the Assessment Team, conveyed gratitude and expressed optimism. She anticipated that the assessment results would yield positive outcomes, enhancing HUTECH’s academic programmes and quality assurance system.

During the ceremony, the AUN-QA delegation received an informative overview of HUTECH. The presentation covered various aspects, including facilities, modern learning environment, utilities, accredited academic programmes and majors, academic, cultural, artistic, and sports facilities, and corporate semesters for students.

The assessment is expected to achieve good results
Following the opening ceremony, the AUN-QA delegation promptly initiated their assessment process. They focused on various standards, including the programme’s structure, output criteria, teaching and learning facilities, and stakeholder feedback.
The awaited results will be unveiled during the closing session on September 12 at Saigon Campus.
