On August 24, the Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) met with Nakamura Munuhiro Nishida International Hotel College from Japan. The meeting aimed to foster academic exchange and enhance training quality in hospitality management between the two institutions.

HUTECH was represented by Prof. Dr. Le Van Canh, Assistant to the Chairman, and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Vice Director of VJIT. The delegation from Nakamura Munuhiro Nishida International Hotel College included President Mr. Munchiro Nishida and Vice President Mr. Takayuki Mori. Also in attendance were Mr. Masanori Tanaka, General Director of SBH Co., Ltd., and Mr. Ngo Chanh, General Director of Tung Vinh Trading and Production Co., Ltd.

During the session, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung presented the HUTECH K12 Education system, especially VJIT's Japanese programs, covering fields such as economics, engineering, and services. HUTECH also organizes annual tours and exchange programs in Japan for over 100 students. Many alumni are now successfully living and working in Japan.

Mr. Munchiro Nishida also introduced Nakamura Munuhiro Nishida International Hotel College, a specialized institution for culinary and hotel services education, spanning from kindergarten to high school. With 75 years of operation and around 800 students, the college's successful graduates highlight its prestige and quality.

Additionally, Munchiro Nishida emphasized the importance of knife skills for culinary students. He noted that mastering this fundamental skill enhances their overall abilities and enables them to create exceptional dishes. Practicing knife skills for three months is a crucial component of the institution's training program.

During the meeting, representatives from both sides recognized their shared objectives in hospitality education and training.
