On September 22nd, Mr. Yoichiro Aoyagi, member of Japan's House of Representatives, visited HUTECH University and met with the university administrators. He also chaired a career talk to students of Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT).
Dr. Kieu Xuan Hung - Chairman of HUTECH University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang Viet - HUTECH University’s Vice President & Director of VJIT, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung - Deputy Director of VJIT, Dr. Ha Minh Tuan - Deputy Director of VJIT, and Ms. Dinh Hai Yen - Director of Center of International Affairs welcomed Mr. Aoyagi to the University.
Mr. Aoyagi has been the Senior Advisor to VJIT since its foundation in 2015. He is an active member to promote many collaborative activities between HUTECH University and Japanese companies. Morevoer, Mr. Aoyagi has been founder and co-chair of Vietnam Festival’s executive committee in Japan for 10 years. This festival is held annually to promote the friendship and collaboration between two countries and enhance the mutual understanding between two peoples.

During the meeting, Chairman of HUTECH University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Kieu Xuan Hung expressed his gratitude to Mr. Aoyagi for his first stop at HUTECH University in his Vietnam business trip after Covid-19 recovery. Dr Hung said, ‘We believe that collaborative projects between our HUTECH University/ VJIT and Japanese industries will provide great learning experiences and employment opportunities for our students after they graduate. I hope that Mr. Aoyagi will introduce HUTECH University more to Japanese organizations and companies, which helps contribute to furthering the development of our collaborative projects that had been affected by Covid-19 pandemic before.”
During the discussion, Mr. Aoyagi congratulated the success of the Vietnam-Japan Undergraduate Program, which is currently being implemented by VJIT in HUTECH University. He said that Japan would reopen its borders and fully get “back to normal”, especially to international students to Japan. Besides, he noted, Japanese Government will issue new policies to attract more foreign human resources, making it easier for the international students to study and work in Japan.

On the same day of his visit, Mr. Aoyagi chaired a career talk to VJIT students with the theme “Employment situation in Japan after Covid-19 pandemic”. He shared with the students the latest news on Japan’s market trends and employment opportunties. Some key job areas in short of human resources in Japan were also mentioned, such as Mechanical Engineering, Automobile, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering & Automation, Healthcare, Nursing and so on.
The visit of Mr. Aoyagi, Member of Japan's House of Representatives stresses the success of HUTECH University’s training of high-quality human resources. His visit has also motivated VJIT/ HUTECH students to learn more about Japanese companies and job opportunities in Japan, which is very useful before their graduation.
