The dazzling finale and awarding ceremony of Miss HUTECH 2021

On January 16, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized the Grand Finale and Awarding Ceremony of Miss HUTECH Award 2021. This highly anticipated beauty pageant, which was highlighted by brilliant fashion and music performances, was the crowning moment of the successor to the previous Miss HUTECH winner, Thanh Khoa, and become the new face representing HUTECH’s beauty.

The Grand Finale and Awarding Ceremony of Miss HUTECH 2021 had the participation of the University’s Board of Directors, Board of Presidents along with faculty and staff from different offices and departments within the university. The special event also welcomed representatives of partner organizations and accompanying sponsors of the contest.

The Final Gala of Miss HUTECH 2021 was a special reunion of several HUTECH representatives that had much success in competing at respectable beauty pageants. Taking on the role of judges at this year’s Miss HUTECH were several big names, including Miss Universe Vietnam Nguyen Tran Khanh Van, Supermodel Truong Ngoc Tinh, Supermodel Huong Ly, Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Son, Journalist and MC Le Phuoc Lap, Fashion Designer Viet Hung. Joining the judges’ table were mentors who have accompanied the top 18 contestants of Miss 2021 since the start of the competition, namely Miss Vivian Tran (winner of Miss World Business 2019) and Vo Thi Ngoc Huyen (runner - up of Miss World Business 2016).

After passing the preliminary and two semi-final rounds, 18 contestants have advanced to the Finale of Miss HUTECH 2021. These contestants are judged based on beauty, talent, and training effort during the course of the competition. In the finale, contestants will perform several portions of the competition including sportswear, ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress), and evening wear to decide the top 5 to move on to the final interview round.

In the end, the Top 10 and Top 5 contestants were announced. The Top 5 each took a turn to answer their question in the final interview round by a random draw to determine from which judges they would receive the final question.
