HUTECH organizes class shirt design competition

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) organized the class shirt design competition the contest "Let’s Shine 2gether", with the participation of famous designers Hoang Minh Ha and My Dung (Midu), who will accompany the students in the contest.


This playground is not only to provide the chance for students to get along with classmates but also promote the spirit of solidarity and the unique personality of each class. "Let's Shine 2gether" is also an opportunity for those who have passion in fashion to come into contact with professional designers.

Let’s Shine 2gether – chance for classes to “shine” “together”

Hoang Minh Ha and My Dung (Midu), HUTECH fashion design lecturers, are famous Vietnamese designers. They will participate in the competition as professional advisors. Therefore, contestants can easily make their design ideas come into practical products which would be ensured aesthetics and personal impressions.

The contest consists of two rounds with the concept "Together" and "Shine". Submissions are being accepted until 15th March. Specifically, in the "Together" round, all teams send a photo of the uniform design (or scanned file) with a presentation of ideas to the organizers according to the registration form. All contest submission will be posted on the official website for voting.

Top 20 finalists are 10 designs with the highest number of votes and 10 designs selected by examiners. Top 20 will be sponsored all funding for class shirts (maximum 50 shirts/class) to continue the challenge in the second round including two main parts: the yearbook photo competition and the video creation.

With the support from designers Hoang Minh Ha and My Dung (Midu), the students have an opportunity to learn about the work of a professional designer

Thereby, the contest facilitates the spirit of solidarity. Particularly for the video creation competition, all teams are free to choose the form of showing such as short films, introductory clips, MCs, plays ...

Each team's score will be calculated by summing up the yearbook voting, clip voting and average points from the judging board. The total cash prize of the contest is up to 100 million VND (including the first prize, a second prize, a third prize, three consolation prizes and a high school prize with the largest number of participants).

Furthermore, members of first, second and third prized classes will receive scholarships worth 60 million VND, 40 million VND and 30 million VND respectively when enrolling in HUTECH.
