Guidelines for Participating in International Student Exchange Programs at HUTECH

The student exchange program is a short-term initiative designed to foster academic and cultural exchange between HUTECH and partner universities worldwide. Participants may have their credits recognized and converted depending on the compatibility of academic programs. This program provides HUTECH students opportunities to study abroad and allows the university to welcome international students for academic and cultural experiences.

Benefits of Participating in Exchange Programs

Exchange students can improve their English proficiency or learn a new foreign language during their stay in Vietnam.
Short-term programs like exchange initiatives reduce study and living expenses, particularly in developing countries like Vietnam. Financial support may also be available.
Students can establish meaningful friendships with locals and peers while gaining exposure to diverse cultures, enhancing their global network.
Living and studying away from home helps students develop life skills such as time management and balancing academics with personal growth.
Credits earned at partner universities can be transferred and recorded in students' academic transcripts. Achievements in academics and extracurricular activities enhance their profiles. HUTECH also awards a certificate of achievement upon program completion.

Application Process for International Students

Step 1: Prepare the Application

International students must prepare the following documents as per HUTECH’s guidelines.
- Call for Nominations at HUTECH
- English Subject Catalogue at HUTECH
- Process Guidelines (Fact Sheet)
- Application Form – [Download Template Here]
- Scanned copy of a valid passport (minimum six months validity before the entry date)
Submission Requirements:
- One complete set of application documents.
- Tuition fees as per the regulations of the partner university.

Step 2: Submit the Application Online

Applications must be submitted via email to global@hutech.edu.vn.
- The application officer will review submissions for completeness:
- If complete: The officer will assist with entry procedures, course registration, visa sponsorship, and orientation sessions.
- If incomplete: The applicant will be instructed to provide additional documents.
Application Period: Monday to Saturday morning (excluding holidays and Tet).
