The Vietnam - Korea Institute of Technology (VKIT), established in September 2020, is dedicated to training engineers and bachelor levels in engineering - technology and economics - management, adhering to Korean educational standards.
Endorsed by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and a network of renowned Korean universities and corporations, VKIT servers as a bridge for Vietnamese young talents, preparing them for the global labor market, with an emphasis on the Korean sector.
VKIT's curriculum is designed to satisfy the strict quality requirements of Korean enterprises’ recruitment. The institute emphasizes a comprehensive educational approach that includes the mastery of professional knowledge, appreciation of Korean heritage, and fluency in the Korean language. Simultaneously, VKIT students benefit from the insights from experienced lecturers from Korea's elite universities and various professional entities, including business associations, funds, and both governmental and non-governmental Korean organizations.
With a foundation of solid knowledge and advanced language proficiency, VKIT students are well-positioned to transfer to over 20 prestigious Korean universities, such as Pusan National University, Pukyong National University, Chungbuk National University, South Seoul University, Yeungnam University, Pai Chai University, Myong-ji University, Kyung-il University, Kyung-sung University, with supporting scholarships.
Furthermore, VKIT offers students opportunities for international exposure and professional growth. These consist of short-term study abroad programs, exchange semesters, scholarships from Korean businesses and postgraduate scholarships under the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) program. Starting from their third year of study, students are allowed to undertake internships with top-tier Korean multinational corporations in Vietnam, including Samsung, Hyosung, LG, CJ, and Lotte, as well as corporations in Korea.
