HUTECH strengthens academic collaboration with Chinese Culture University

On December 16, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and Chinese Culture University held a meeting to discuss and promote collaboration in academic programs, as well as student and faculty exchange initiatives between the two institutions.

Representing Chinese Culture University were Prof. Tzu-Chi Wang, President of the university, and Mr. Chia-Lin Tsai, Director of International Cooperation. From HUTECH, participants included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Vice President; Dr. Kieu Thi Van Anh, Dean of the Faculty of Chinese Studies; and Dr. Huynh Bich Ngoc, Deputy Dean of the Faculty.

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien provided an overview of HUTECH, highlighting its academic programs, modern facilities, and existing international exchange initiatives. Emphasizing HUTECH's multidisciplinary strengths in fields such as engineering, business, and languages, he expressed a strong desire to expand training collaboration with Chinese Culture University to create more opportunities for HUTECH students to grow and enhance their professional skills.

Prof. Tzu-Chi Wang praised the adaptability, eagerness to learn, and cultural integration shown by Vietnamese students studying abroad. He emphasized that these qualities not only contribute to a vibrant multicultural environment but also enrich the academic and cultural life at Chinese Culture University. Mr. Chia-Lin Tsai reaffirmed the foundation of mutual trust and commitment to student exchange programs. He pledged full support to ensure HUTECH students receive the best opportunities for growth during their time in Taiwan.

This meeting further detailed the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) previously signed between the two institutions. Both sides agreed to intensify academic exchange programs and student and faculty mobility initiatives. They also committed to developing more high-quality academic courses and practical activities to benefit both student communities. These efforts aim to advance education, expand knowledge, improve communication skills, and promote international integration for the students.
