Tourism service and Travel management programs evaluated by HUTECH

HUTECH is the first university in Vietnam which has the mission to train Master Degree of Tourism Service and Travel Management Program, approved by Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).

The summary of the formation and development of Tourism and Hospitality training programs at HUTECH

HUTECH has enrolled students for university programs of two majors: Hospitality Management, Tourism Service and Travel Management since 1999. Thousands of HUTECH brilliant graduated bachelors have contributed to society since then. These programs are not only highly appreciated by national experts for their modern and practical curricula but also recognized as the first training programs applied enterprises semester which is focused on “Real Education – Real Talent”.
On 5th May 2015, Deputy Ministry of MOET, Mr.Bui Van Ga signed the decision “No.1495/Decision – MOET” which allowed HUTECH to train Master Degree of Tourism Service and Travel Manangement Program, training code: 60340103.     
From this stable foundation, HUTECH has proved its strength of training the workforce for not only national tourism industry but also business administration. HUTECH has also got its prestige and recognition from nationwide universities and colleges.  
On 11th March 2016, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HUTECH) has appraised college and university programs of Tourism Service and Travel Management for Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI) and Da Nang College of Food Industry (CFI) at HUTECH headquarters 475A Dien Bien Phu Ward 25 Binh Thanh District Ho Chi Minh City. HUTECH had also appraised Hospitality Management College Program for Quang Ngai College of Industrial Technology.
  The appraisal council included: Dr. Luu Thanh Tam, Ph.D, HUTECH Vice President – Chairman of the Council; Dr. Nguyen Quyet Thang, Ph.D, Dean of HUTECH Tourism and Hospitality Falcuty – 1st Examiner; Dr. Tran Van Thong, Commissioner – 2nd Examiner; Dr. Ho Van Tuong – Commissioner; Dr. Phan Thanh Vinh – Commissioner, Secretary.

  Members of the appraisal council
The appraisal process was conducted in accordance with procedures promulgated by MOET which focused on not only learning and teaching process but also other training conditions for the major Tourism Service and Travel Management at HUFI and  CFI. Members of the appraisal council and representatives HUFI and CFI have worked with sense of justice which brought great success to the appraisal meeting.
