Japanese Studies and Hosei University students explore Vietnamese rural culture

On September 7, students from the Japanese Faculty of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and Hosei University (Japan) embarked on a field trip to Binh Duong, where they enjoyed various cultural experiences of Vietnamese rural life.
 
This trip is part of the international scientific research cooperation events with the student delegation from Hosei University. Accompanying the students are Prof. Jun Misono, the lecturer in charge of the Hosei University delegation, Ms. Doan Thi Minh Nguyen, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Studies, and other faculty lecturers.

During the trip, students from both universities gained fascinating insights into Vietnamese agriculture. They were captivated by their visit to the Ben Suc rubber forest, where they learned about rubber planting and harvesting latex. Additionally, they admired the serene beauty of the Vietnamese countryside. The students also immersed themselves in local life by engaging in activities such as picking watermelons, walking on a bamboo bridge, and visiting fields during the harvest season.

The students also had the opportunity to engage in cultural exchanges with local residents, rest in their homes, and enjoy traditional Vietnamese dishes. The trip provided unique cultural experiences, helping Japanese students gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese people and culture. Additionally, it offered HUTECH students a chance to improve their foreign language skills and prepare for future integration.
