VJIT students explore Japanese culture with Yuwa Company and Tottori University

Recently, the Vietnam-Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) hosted a meeting with employees and students from Yuwa Co., Ltd. and Tottori University (Japan). This event provided an opportunity to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture, build relationships with Japanese businesses, and learn about training and internship programs.
 
At the beginning, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung, Director of VJIT, welcomed the partners, expressing his hope that the session would be an enjoyable exchange filled with valuable knowledge.

During the program, Mr. Hidaka Keisuke from Yuwa's Design Department provided an overview of the company. Headquartered in Japan, Yuwa specializes in manufacturing plastic injection electronic components and metal molds. The company is environmentally friendly, using natural materials to produce components for everyday items like smartphones, computers, cars, and medical instruments.

Next, three students from Yuwa provided an overview of Japanese culture, cuisine, sports, and movies. They also shared insights about their training majors, offering valuable knowledge and fresh perspectives on Japanese education.

To provide a better understanding of Vietnamese student life, HUTECH students Huynh Ngoc Chau An and Nguyen Quoc Cuong discussed the challenges they encountered while living and working in Japan, along with the strategies they used to overcome them.

As part of the program, Ms. Banba Kaori, a lecturer at Tottori University, discussed the state of universities in Vietnam and the admission process for international students at Tottori University. Her presentation highlighted numerous opportunities for HUTECH students to engage in exchange programs and study in Japan.
