Recently, sophomores in Nursing, at the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Laboratory - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) completed their internship at Cho Ray Hospital. This was an essential part of the training program, helping students gain valuable experience in an actual working environment.
During this internship, students had the opportunity to work in the Pulmonary Department and the Department of Surgery - Liver - Cholera - Pancreas of Cho Ray Hospital. The one-month internship provided students with profound experiences in an actual medical environment, where they were exposed to a variety of situations, and learned from experienced doctors. This was a valuable opportunity for students to improve their professional skills and understanding of treatment in such a long-standing medical facility.

At the Internal Pulmonary Department of Cho Ray Hospital, students were exposed to common diseases such as pneumonia, bronchial asthma, COPD, etc. In addition, students learned and practiced intensive care techniques related to the pulmonology. Through this, students enhance practical skills and deepen their understanding of the treatment process in the internal pulmonary field.

At the Department of Surgery - Liver - Cholera - Pancreas of Cho Ray Hospital, students were involved in various important professional tasks such as changing dressings, cutting threads, injecting drugs, infusion, removing drainage tubes, taking venous and capillary blood, as well as transporting patients for subclinical tests.
They also implemented care plans for some common surgical diseases, strengthening their practical skills and understanding of patient care processes in the field of surgery. This is an essential part of their capacity building and readiness to face the challenges of the medical profession.
