Through unified and continuous efforts, the "Volunteer for the Community" campaign, organized by the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Laboratory at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) from July 8 to August 8, has extended love and support to various community groups.
The campaign kicked off on July 8 with an initial first aid training session for volunteers. This group-based training aimed to equip students with fundamental first aid knowledge and skills. By the end of the program, students had acquired essential skills for effective emergency response, enhancing their capacity and confidence in rescue operations and community healthcare.

From July 10 to 13, students visited Vinh Son Charity Nursing Home in Binh Thanh District as part of the "Sharing Love" activity. During these visits, they talked with the elderly and gave them gifts. These interactions helped the elderly feel the community's affection, reduced their loneliness, and improved their quality of life.

From July 18 to 21, students teamed up with the Happiness Kitchen to prepare meals and distribute gifts and meals to patients at Le Van Thinh Hospital. This volunteer activity aimed to provide patients with additional support and encouragement during their treatment.

On July 22, the campaign focused on helping with health check-ups in Binh Hung Commune, Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. Students worked with the Youth Union of Ward 27 - Binh Thanh District to measure weight, height, blood sugar, and blood pressure, and provide medical advice. They also organized fun activities for local children, teaching them how to wash their hands properly. These efforts raised health and hygiene awareness and created a friendly community atmosphere.

From July 23 to 25, as part of the "Warm and Full Evening" program, students prepared gifts to distribute to the homeless, sold lottery tickets, and collected scrap metal in various wards of Binh Thanh District. These practical actions addressed the immediate needs of those in need and showed the sincere care of the students. Their efforts helped alleviate hardships and provided encouragement and motivation to those facing many challenges.

From July 27 to 30, the students collaborated with the Youth Union of Ward 5, Binh Thanh District, to organize the "Gift of Love" festival at the Ward’s Cultural House for children in difficult circumstances. This event provided an opportunity for the children to enjoy fun activities, receive meaningful gifts, and help alleviate their families' hardships.

On August 1 and 2, the "Summer of Love" festival continued at the Ward’s Cultural House. Students and children enjoyed fun games like dart throwing, ball passing, and balloon popping. The students also handed out cute gifts to the local kids. This activity not only brought joy but also created unforgettable summer memories for the children.
