Here, students from Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands not only explored the 120m-long tunnel system, but also experienced how the Vietnamese people lived during the resistance war. At the Cu Chi Liberation Area Recreation Zone, the students were “immersed” in a vivid depiction of the war through slow-motion re-enactments. They experienced realistic recreations of daily life, living conditions, and architecture from the period of resistance, leading to the ultimate victory.
