Finance and Commerce students explore modern working environment at Shinhan Finance

On August 8, the Faculty of Finance and Commerce at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), together with the Center for Corporate Relations, organized a visit to Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Ltd. (Shinhan Finance), which gathered a large number of students.

Joining the students on the trip were Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Commerce; Ms. Pham Kha Vy, Lecturer from the Faculty; and Mr. Tran Dai Thang from the Center for Corporate Relations.

Shinhan Finance representatives warmly welcomed the HUTECH delegation, including Mr. Chun Young Ill, General Director; Mr. Kim Dong Hyeong, Director of Finance; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Luan, Director of Human Resources Management.

At the start of the program, Mr. Chun Young Ill provided a brief introduction to the company and its products and services, giving students a better understanding of the financial and banking market in Vietnam. Following this, students toured the offices and learned about job positions at Shinhan Finance. In addition to the tour, students engaged in discussions with Shinhan Finance leaders, gaining valuable insights and a deeper understanding of the career opportunities available.

The visit to Shinhan Finance headquarters was a valuable and enriching experience for HUTECH Finance and Commerce students. They were introduced to the professional and dynamic working environment at Shinhan Finance and gained insights into the current financial and banking market. This opportunity allows students to get a realistic view of their chosen industry's working environment, acquire practical knowledge from experts, and better define their career paths.
