HUTECH’s Faculty of Pharmacy students at Summer Connect 2024

On the 19th and 20th of July, the Faculty of Pharmacy - Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) cooperated with Thu Duc Regional General Hospital to organize a meaningful community activity called "Summer Connect 2024".

The activity was organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy in collaboration with Thu Duc Regional General Hospital

The activity took place at Tien Thuan B Primary School, Tay Ninh Province with the sponsorship of Colgate.

Accompanying 45 students of the Faculty of Pharmacy on the trip were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Phung Nguyen - Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and others.

At the activity, the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy brought an enjoyable playground to the local children. In addition, the children were instructed to brush their teeth as well as wash their hands properly with Colgate. They also participated in a medical examination with the delegation of Thu Duc General Hospital.

Multiple activities at the Connect Summer 2024

Besides the recreational activities, the children also received scholarships with a total value of up to 22 million VND.

The Faculty of Pharmacy delegation visited numerous relics in Tay Ninh to study the history and culture

Within the program, the Faculty of Pharmacy delegation also had the opportunity to visit the historic relic Duong Minh Chau Base. Here, the students learned about the essential role of Duong Minh Chau Base during the resistance period.
The meaningful trip has contributed to building the image of HUTECH students as a dynamic generation in community activities.
