On the morning of February 10, 2017, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) solemnly held the Inauguration Ceremony of E3 Building, HUTECH High-Quality Manpower Training Center located at the Training Subdivision - Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP).

Prepare a quality workforce for the globalized economy
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Sc. Ho Dac Loc - HUTECH President affirmed, “With the responsibility of a higher education institution, HUTECH strives to fulfill our mission of providing high-quality human resources for the national and regional economy in the period of global economic integration. In particular, HUTECH High-Quality Manpower Training Center plays an important role in the University’s orientation of academic training, scientific research, and technology transfer.”

Being at the "heart" of SHTP, HUTECH High-Quality Manpower Training Center is responsible for training and supplying high-qualified human resources required by enterprises in the fields of electronics, automation, biotechnology, information technology, energy, new materials, etc. Besides, the Center exposes HUTECH’s students to the implementation of big projects as well as gaining access to internships and employment opportunities at technology corporations currently operating at SHTP including Intel, Samsung, IBM, etc.

In the implementation of its international human resource training strategy, HUTECH also cooperates with universities, research institutes and enterprises from Japan to establish the Vietnam - Japan Center right at SHTP to train high-quality workforces that can satisfy the strict recruitment criteria required by Japanese enterprises with the presence here in Vietnam and abroad.
The most professional and modern space for study and research
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the delegation was given a tour of the E3 Building and its modern facilities equipped with systems of laboratory, workshop, and service area. After putting E3 Building in operation, HUTECH plans to complete the construction of the E1 Building which is the Center’s main feature. The E1 Building is scheduled to be inaugurated in June 2017.

The project has a total investment capital of 450 billion VND and a total area of 1.64 hectares, including 41,300 square meters of floor area made up of (1) an administrative section, faculty offices, a library, project offices; (2) an academic and training section including classrooms, laboratories, workshops; (3) a multipurpose section such as auditorium, exhibition area, general service area, and offices of affiliates and partner organizations.

With the achieved progress in over 20 years since its establishment, HUTECH has asserted its position and reputation as a leading multi-disciplinary university with degree programs offered at both undergraduate and graduate levels. While taking a forward-thinking approach to its teaching and training philosophy, HUTECH embraces the practice orientation and application towards its study and research activities. Besides, HUTECH has also made substantial investments in upgrading its campus facilities, of which HUTECH High-Quality Manpower Training Center is the tangible proof of this commendable effort.
