Yan Can Cook to Appear in HUTECH New Year Show

Hot news has been spread in the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), especially in student community, as Yan Can Cook (Martin Yan) is scheduled to visit and perform in the cultural festivity “Welcome New Year 2015” in HUTECH on December 19, 2015.

Yan Can Cook is coming to HUTECH 

Martin Yan, aka Yan Can Cook, has been a phenomenon as his talent achieves rapturous applause from the Asian community as well as Vietnamese people. He has been not only hosting his successful own show “Yan Can Cook”, which catches huge attention around the world, but also writing numbers of books of cuisine and cooking such as Martin Yan ‘s Feast – The Best of Yan Can Cook, Chinese Cooking for Dummies, and Martin Yan’s Asian Favorite.

As a cuisine representative of WMC, Yan Can Cook is greeting New Year by surprising HUTECH people with a fabulous show named “Along with Yan Can Cook (Martin Yan)”. HUTECH students, as a result, are expecting an opportunity to support and enjoy a variety of special dishes performed by Yan. At the same time, he will be sharing his passion in cooking Vietnamese Cuisine and the love he has elicited to one of the most particular culture in the world as well as its people.

Joining the night with Yan Can Cook in the opening show at HUTECH schoolyard

 Sy Luan, Duc Tuan, Minh Thu and Nam Cuong to fire the night

The present of Vietnamese famous singers, Sy Luan, Duc Tuan, Minh Thu and Nam Cuong, will be an undoubtedly striking hit, which fires the event with numbers of vigorous songs currently loved by young people. They are also talking to the audiences and performing nicely dance steps that no one should miss.

Beside Yan and famous singers, people are watching numbers of amazingly talented performances of HUTECH students and alumni including singing, pop dancing, traditional dancing, and other instrument performing, etc.

Partaking the “Welcome New Year 2015” festival are 6 beautiful and talented students of HUTECH in a traditional outfit performance. They are Ngo Huynh Bao Ngoc – Winner of Miss HUTECH 2010 as well as Sakura Beauty 2010, Pham Phuong Thao – Winner of Miss HUTECH 2012 as well as Modern Women Photo Contest 2014, Nguyen Hoang Thuc Vy – Runner Up 1 of Miss HUTECH 2012 as well as Miss Star 2014, Thoong Cooc Dinh – Candidate of Miss Vietnamese Peoples 2011, Nguyen Thi Kim Anh – Top 10 of “So You Think You Can Dance 2014”, Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy – the Most Favorite of Miss Star 2014, and Huynh Thi Cam Tien – Top 20 of Miss HUTECH 2012.

The event predictably attracts more than 5000 students as well as staff and faculty and takes place in HUTECH schoolyard of Main Campus at 19:00 on December 19, 2014. This show is the denouement of a successful year of the school and opens a brand new one with tons of dazzling accomplishments and cheerfulness in 2015.
