HUTECH to Support National Entrance Examination 2014

A passionate summer has begun with more than 350 volunteer students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology to participate in the National Entrance Examination Support Campaign 2014 (NEESC 2014) with the slogan “HUTECH is here when you need”. Taking place annually in July, NEESC 2014 is one the most typically exciting activities of HUTECH students. The amiable hearts ensure the candidates from surrounding areas to observe the best support when joining the examination in Ho Chi Minh City.

Together with students in town, more than 1,500 applicants have registered to join the program NEESC 2014. The organizers decisively recruited more than 350 enthusiastic students to approach the mission. In current year, different teams will be assigned to distinct areas including bus stops, train stations, and additional 4 locations:

- HUTECH – Main Campus: 475A Dien Bien Phu St., Wd. 25, Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC

- HUTECH – Ung Van Khiem Campus : 31/36 Ung Van Khiem St., Wd. 25, Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC

- HUTECH – Institute of International Education: 276-282 Dien Bien Phu St., Wd. 17. Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC

- Thu Thiem High School: 1 Vu Tong Phan, An Phu Wd., Binh Thanh Dist., HCMC

7 Teams of HUTECH

HUTECH provides candidates with the support of 7 teams:

-    Hospitality Supporting Team
-    Welcoming and Instructing Team
-    Instruction Providing Team at Bus and Train Stations
-    Transportation Support Team
-    Public Relation Team
-    Logistics Team
-    Traffic Controlling Team

HUTECH simultaneously provides candidates and their families with over 10,000 maps, 5,000 lunches and free drinks. In addition, 318 out of over 3,000 available motel rooms for candidates in the surrounding of testing centers are free and added during the exam dates.

In the spiritually volunteering atmosphere, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam, Vice Rector, highly evaluated the meaning of the support program and shared thoughts to the volunteers, “NEESC 2014 is a meaningful program. The huge support from HUTECH students through many years has become a beautiful image of morality. It has been not only a tradition but also a solid foundation for young candidates around the country when joining the National Examination.”

With nearly 20 years of foundation and development, HUTECH has become a prestige institution in the Vietnamese education system. It is one of the top universities not only offering multi-disciplines and dynamic trainings as well as supplying high quality human resources but also sufficiently contributing to the good of society. For instance, the continual activities held by HUTECH such as Green Summer, Blood Donation and Social Acts certainly enable the school to become one of the best four youth communities that accomplished HCMC Youth Community’s missions. HUTECH, thus, has successfully impressed people with its enthusiasm, pride and passion.
