University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) to Visit and Work at HUTECH

In the morning of June 09^th, 2014, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan Lam – Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Director of HUTECH - Institute of International Education warmly welcomed and worked with Ms. Mette Ostergaard Samuelsen – Director of International Cooperation Office and Mr. Rene Martin Larsen – Director of Construction and Civil Architectural Program of University College of Northern Denmark (UCN).

At the meeting, both parties have discussed and exchanged information about enhancing the cooperation in the three main perspectives including student exchange as well as research and training program development. Especially, the representative from Denmark has offered an opportunity for cooperation with HUTECH in short-term training courses in the field of green energy.

Beside VIA – TEKO, this is the next university from Denmark which expected to set a long term cooperation with HUTECH. Years of experience in international cooperation with reputable worldwide institutions have been promising more successful collaboration between UCN and HUTECH in the near future.

UCN is located at three big cities – Hjorring, Thisted and Aalborg in Northern Denmark. The university strengths are in Energy Technology, Architectural Technology and Civil Engineering Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Customer Service, Hospitality and Tourist etc. UCN is currently having 10.000 students in which 1.000 students are international students studying and doing research on campus.
